If you are considering solar, PLEASE compare before you sign the contract. We just saved a customer $18,742!! In other words, he saved more than the system cost from us!
The initial cost of the system for the exact same system size of 5.035 KW is $18,428 with CREW ($3.66/watt peak) and $25,678 with the other company ($5.09/watt peak). And this is not a no-name small competitor…bigger is not always best. Even though this customer is buying the system, the “other company” adds on a 2.9% escalator every year. This is standard practice for a lease, but some other companies even do it for a purchase (great for the solar company…not great for the customer)!
Because of this “escalator” and the higher initial cost, our monthly payments are less — even though their loan is 10 years longer! Our payments start at 99/month and stay there for 20 years (no escalator). Their payments start at $117/month and go all the way up to $208/month after 30 years — for the same size solar system.
Over the entire term of the loan with interest…CREW totals $29,408 over 20 years ($27,144 if they pay it off in 15 years from their savings). “The other solar company” is $48,150 over 30 years. That is almost $19,000 more…
We should all go solar, and you will likely save money no matter who install with, but why not save the most money possible with CREW. We feel there is a moral obligation to educate people about their options. We are not the biggest — yet. But Dividend is by far the fastest growing solar company in the U.S. and we have the highest consumer satisfaction rating. We did over 1,000 installations last month in 30 states and we are less than 2 years old.
We attached specifics taken right from both contracts (ours have some blue, the other company is all in black). The more you are educated on your options, the better we look. Let us do a free proposal for you. Discover how much you can save with $0 down solar ownership and CREW!
